Description:

When I created the “Qué Pedo” t-shirt, I took inspiration from the phrases commonly used in Mexico, and how a single phrase can have different meanings. “Qué pedo” can be used to greet someone, similar to saying “what’s up.” The word “pedo” is also used to describe someone who is drunk. With this t-shirt, I wanted to play with that wordplay and double meaning.

The lettering is inspired by traditional Mexican sign painting (rotulismo) — a nod to our roots and to the beauty of handmade craft.
